We are in QA phase for launching the product. Our firmware is based on SDK v1.2 of nrf9160.
With the firmware, we have already tested the process in which the device is forced to lose the network by enclosing it into the metal enclosure. The device loses the network when inside the metal enclosure but is able to recover fairly quickly when taken out.
During the testing, we have found that the device sometimes loses the LTE network and is unable to regain it until we do a reboot. This happens when the device is continuously connected and is running for a few days. We are testing with few devices placed in close proximity a few cm apart and from those devices one random device will lose the connection and is unable to regain until the reboot is done.
We are not using any sleep mode and the device is always on and connected to the network.
