Detecting the Proximity of Bluetooth Devices

Hi,

I am working on a project to help determine the distance between the NRF52840 DK and other bluetooth devices using BLE. When the distance is past a certain threshold, an output such as a buzzer would be triggered, How exactly would I go about doing this? Can someone provide an example program ?

Have you seen the BLE proximity peripheral example from the SDK?
It demonstrates the functionality you describe.

Hi, so I went through the code for the demo  here : https://github.com/particle-iot/nrf5_sdk/blob/master/examples/ble_peripheral/ble_app_proximity/main.c

Is this the right one and if so which parts must I change to flash leds for example when close to a Bluetooth Device

No, this is not the correct repository.
When downloading code for development, please use our official github pages https://github.com/nordicsemiconductor/ / https://github.com/nrfconnect / https://github.com/nordicplayground

Have you downloaded the nRF5 SDK? The example documentation I referenced in my previous reply is in regards to the nRF5 SDK.

Please let me know if you no longer require support for this issue.
