Is nRF52840 capable to transmit and receive audio?

Hi,

I am trying to make a project where one Bluetooth chip receives an audio file from mobile and another chip will receive it via serial communication and transmit ahead to another module via Bluetooth. My question is that, is nRF52840 capable to transmit as well as receive the audio files over Bluetooth?

You need to define what you mean by, "audio" - single-channel telephone "toll quality" audio is very different from full stereo CD-quality audio ...

The real question is not whether a particular chip can do it - but whether BLE is a good choice for doing it.

This has been discussed many times before - do a forum search.

Ok, so I want to transmit the mp3 file from mobile to nrf52840 via Bluetooth.

And I went through the "Related Posts" as you are suggested, but problem is that I am a newbie here and I don't understand where to start please help me.

That still doesn't help - MP3 files can have a vast range of bit rates, can be mono or stereo, etc ...

Do you have experience with any other microcontroller(s) ?

Do you have experience with programming in general ?

Do you have experience with comms in general ?

If not, then you probably should spend time on the basics before jumping into BLE - which is by no means a simple thing!
