DK not detected, no jlink flash drive

We have a Nordic development under way and I have run into a snag.

Neither of my dk board types (9160 or 52840) are recognized by jlink , no jlink drive etc….

I have personally installed NRF/connect and associated tools on numerous Windows 10

Machines without issues.

I have tried loading various " jlkink cdc uart  Port" versions and alternatives from devzone. Also tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling.

All fail (cannot start code 10)

Up to date W10 Laptop

Asus UX431

USB Host controller - Intel

Hi. 

Did they work at some point? Are you seeing this issue on only one computer/laptop? Could you go through the steps listed in this thread and see if the issue persists.

Thank you. It appears that it was the cable (apparently I had multiple bad cables). I verified my setup on working computer A, then moved board and cable to problem computer B. 

close the case if applicable.
