Turn off partition manager in NCS

with NCS v1.3.0 is there a way to turn off partition manager?  I want to be able to build my app and mcuboot separately and not use partition manager at all.

I do not think you can disable partition manager in 1.3 version. Many components have now dependency on this module being included starting v1.3
