It is possible to addressing nodes using MAC address of the device in Thread network?
In topology: PC <-> Border router <-> Thread mesh nodes
which IPv6 (Mesh-Local EID?) addresses should I use to communicate between PC and Thread mesh nodes?

Hi,
The IEEE EUI64 address is the closest you get to a MAC address in Thread. The EUI64 address is set based on OUI and DEVICEID from FICR register.
The IEEE EUI64 address is used under commissioning, but after the Thread Network security credentials have been successfully obtained, the device uses randomly generated extended MAC address.
If you want to adress an spesific node you should use the ML-EID address: https://openthread.io/guides/thread-primer/ipv6-addressing#mesh-local-eid-ml-eid
Best regards,
Marjeris
Hi, Sorry if I am crashing into this thread. Doe the ML-EID address stay static for a particular thread device? i.e it does not change if the device rejoined/recommissioned or power cycled.
Thanks,
