Weird behavior BLE connect

I see the BLE on the nRF connect on phone but when I try to connect it either takes forever to connect and then does not connect or it connects and disconnects.

I am using the YART_BLE example. My LED1 when it connects just shuts so it immediately disconnects. Sometimes when it is advertising the LED is blinking and then all of a sudden shuts. Otherwise it just keeps blinking and never connects.

There were a few instances where it actually connected and the link stayed connected for some time till I got a connection timeout error.

I am really confused as to what is happening.
