Unable to flash Thingy91 modem

Hello,

When I try and use nRF connect Programmer to update the modem firmware via USB it fails each time in the second step (Modem Firmware Update) with the error message:

2020-07-29T15:29:11.372Z INFO Writing thingy91_fw_2020-04-29_bc7ade8b/mfwnrf9160120.zip to device 
2020-07-29T15:29:32.744Z ERROR Modem DFU failed with error: Error: Error occured when program. Errorcode: CouldNotCallFunction (0x9)
Lowlevel error: Unknown value (ffffff24)

I am powering up the device with SW3 pressed and I am using nrfjprog version 10.9.0.

1- Can you please suggest a fix for this error?

2- How can I flash the app and the modem using Command Line?

Sorry, I have not been able to get in touch with our developers. Can you please try with nRF Connect for Desktop vs 3.3.0 to see if this can solve anything?

Hello again, I'm currently working with the developer of nRF Connect Programmer. Can you please provide the version number of the Thingy:91?

Also, there is an update to nRF Connect Programmer that should fix the issue. Can you please try that?

Hello Øyvind, sorry for the late response.

My Thingy91 version is 1.0.2 2020.13.

I tried flashing using nRF Connect Programmer v1.4.4 and it works perfectly fine (after 2 tries).

Is there another way to flash the modem or the firmware using Command Line?
