How many BLE devices that 1 Android phone can connect to?

Hi,

I am using NRF52832 with SDK 17.0.0.

I wanna try to connect multiple devices with only one Android phone.

When I try demo on Samsung galaxy S8, I can connect with 9 devices, try on OPPO F1s (A1601) just connect with 4 devices, try on Xiaomi just connect with 7 device - It true with the documentation I read about connection limitation.

The goal I want to achieve is connect with 20 device Ble. If you have any suggestion for that, pls let me know.

Hi David, 

This thread indicates an Android device will limit the number of concurrent connection to only 7 as defined with BTA_GATTC_CONN_MAX (please see Android Bluetooth stack), but I think it might be different depending on manufactures. I would suggest asking this question on either Stack Overflow or the official Android development forum.
