using RTC to wake up the radio transceiver of the nRF52832

Hi, 

I want to use the nRF52832 on a recording system for sending the data to computer using BLE. I want to receive data after a while that the system is put in its position and the battery life is very important to me. so I want to ask, can I start the chip and put it in system on mode, but all the peripherals except one RTC or timer be off and disabled and after a time that being set by RTC or timer, the Radio transceiver start working and sending data? how much is the current consumption in waiting mode?

    Yes, this is the common way most BLE chips work.

    how much is the current consumption in waiting mode?

    according to spec, it should be about 2 uA.

    Yes, this is the common way most BLE chips work.
