Bluetooth 5.0 Qualification for nRF52 using Zephyr OS Controller and BlueZ Host

Hi,

We are talking with a Bluetooth certification provider regarding our product, and need QDID's for Host and Controller.

The nRF52x is running Zephyr and the Host is BlueZ via Yocto Linux. 

We have a custom service (with 128-bit UUID) for communications with an iOS/Android app and will be using the Mesh profile for communications between product instances.

Looking through https://launchstudio.bluetooth.com/Listings/Search for "BlueZ" I do not see a QDID for Bluetooth 5.0 corresponding to 'vanilla' BlueZ. Should we be able to list 151811 as our Host QDID? Or do you have some other suggestion for us to certify our nRF52-based product as Bluetooth 5.0+?

Hi,

We are not very familiar with bluez, but I checked briefly with our qualification expert, and, yes, you should be able to reference a host subsystem as the one you are referring to. Not sure what version that is for and how it compares to the version you are using though.
