Bluetooth pairing with ble

I've not worked with BT4.0/4.1 before, so I was wondering about this: Take the heart rate monitor example, connection happens automatically when a heart rate monitor is discovered. So what if I wanted there were 20 heart rate monitors in the room? How can I ensure that the app connects only to the belt I want it to?

Your phone connected to to the H7 belt because you had already previously "paired" (and potentially "bonded") the H7 belt with your phone. This means that any app that runs on YOUR phone can connect YOUR belt. Once the H7 belt is "bonded" to your phone, it will not allow other phones to connect to it, without first unpairing/unbonding. Please read more about "pairing" and "bonding" and it will make more sense.
