Need help in designing the antenna circuit design.

Hello Team,

We are working on PCB design using the nRF51822 QFAA and we have some questions regarding the antenna circuits and antenna PCB design.

we are referring the nRF51822 Product Specification v3.3 and have came across the reference design of nRF51822 QFAA.

But the question is if we use the same circuit in the reference design then what are the term that we should look at while designing the antenna circuit and it PCB design.

This the first time I am designing the antenna circuit so please help me in the process.

Take a look at the nRF51822 reference design. All the components here are mandatory. Also note the layout of the matching network (from ANT1 and 2 to the 50 ohm interface). https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Low-power-short-range-wireless/nRF51822

The antenna comes in addition to this, The antenna may or may not need additional tuning components. See this whitepaper for more: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nwp_017.pdf
