Send an SMS to Thingy91

Am trying to evaluate the nRF9160 + nRF52840 combo as in the thingy, we want to send an sms to the device and reveice back its GPS location. SMS is spectically requested for the use case, not data. 

I found this thread but I assume he was working on the DK which I don't have.

How do we set up the thingy91 to receive SMS?

Hi Daniel

There should not be much difference between Thingy:91 and the DK when it comes to receiving an SMS. The SIM card, however, is more important as receiving an SMS often is not supported when roaming. The SIM currently included with the Thingy:91 or DK does not support SMS.
