SEGGER Embedded Studio. Can't load project file. Undocumented error is coming

Hi ,

I am working nrf9160 project. I am facing error while downloading the project. 

I followed the ticket  -https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/50422/how-send-simple-hello-message-to-server-using-nrf9160-and-http

also change the debug symbol file[0] and debug symbol file [1] .

You can always try to flash the HEX file whit nRF Connect - Programmer, https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-tools/Development-Tools/nRF-Connect-for-desktop

Have you been able to build and flash a project to the nRF9160DK before this error occurred in SEGGER?

There is a new version of SEGGER out, V5.10, maybe try to update? https://www.segger.com/downloads/embedded-studio

Hi Jonathan ,

Thanks for reply . I will always flash with Hex file only , and I  able to build and flash a project to the nrf9160DK before this error occurred in segger .

Hi 

You have not accidently switched the prog\debug switch to the nrf52 side?

if not then try to reset and erase the flash first
reset:
 nrfjprog -r

erase:
nrfjprog -e


then try and program the device again.

Try to verify the J-Link connection using the J-Link Commander whit the verify functionality

Thanks for the reply , When ever i open the project with option "open nrf connect SDK project " i face this issue , but after  cleaning the build directory i can get over of issue .

I am not able to replicate that error at the moment, if you are able to circumvent the problem by doing the what you stated:

then I guess that is a partial solution, I would still recommend updating to the latest version of SEGGER (now at 5.10) to see if that fixes the problem since this seems to be a bug in SEGGER embed studio.
