nRF52840 as BLE sniffer (PCA 10059)

I need BLE sniffer and I puchase this device because in this manual of "nRF Sniffer" say that "nRF52840 Development Kit (PCA10056) " is compatible.

I get device, but my nRF52840 is PCA 10059, not 56.

I have followed the setup instructions but there is only firmware for the following PCA:

Does that mean that my device doesn't support sniffer?

That is correct. The nRF52840 Dongle (PCA10059) does not support the nRF Sniffer for BLE firmware. As stated on the product page: To use the nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE you need either the nRF52840 DK (PCA10056), nRF52 DK, nRF51 DK, or the nRF51 Dongle.

You can use the nRF52840 Dongle as a sniffer for 802.15.4 protocols, like Thread and Zigbee for instance, but not for BLE.
