Error "Non Registered due to UICC Failure"

Hello Nordic Team, 

We just received and test a new batch of SIMs using a nordic nRF9160. However, there is an error that doesn't allow to register these new SIMs. From LTE Link Monitor we have the error Non registered due to UICC Failure and the UICC button keeps in red. 

If we insert and old SIM, this error is not present and data session is working fine. The question is, is there any AT command that allows to enable UICC and is there any value required into the SIMs to work with nRF9160?

Can you provide any information on where you are testing? Any specific network/country? What do you get If you run at_client and AT+CFUN=41? And what does AT%XSIM return?

Hello, 

I just received an update about this issue and here is the possible error cause:

Looks like the eSIM does not support voltage class C (1,8 V), or at least does not indicate class C support in the ATR.
