Dear technical support.
We are using this chip (nRF52832) in our hardware.
I'd like to check is this feature AoA(part of BLE5.1) enabled in the chip?. Is there any application note on this topic?
regards
Xiaojun

Hi,
Direction finding is supported by nRF52811, nRF52820 and nRF52833. Maximum you can do with nRF52832 is to use it as AoA beacon for custom protocol, but this will not be compatible with BLE 5.1
Dmitry
thanks for answer. Why it is not compatible with BLE5.1? My understanding is that AoA is defined as major feature of BLE5.1.
Because nRF52832 has no support for BLE5.1 and especially direction finding. If you need BLE5.1 compatible solution, you need one of three chips I mentioned above.
Got it.
I did not check the content carefully.
Thanks
Btw
I heard you company are going to release SDK for AoA?
Is it true?
