Um... who does have the source code? Is it open source or proprietary?

It's a little shocking that NordicSemi would distribute a binary application that collects BLE information and have zero control over the source code and be completely unwilling to share any information about it.

My apologies for the poor answer provided by me, I must have been drunk or something. 

To be clear, we do have the source code, but cannot share it due to proprietary code. Please see the nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE documentation. If you have any further question, please let me know and I will provide an answer.

We have a bunch of non production boards that we could use as BLE sniffers. It sure would be nice to have the source code. None the less, your honesty is appreciated.
