nRF9160 DK: Access connector interfaces, LEDS and/or switches on nrf9160 DK through nrf52840

We are developing a BLE app on nRF52840. For the next step, we want to try reading/writing to other devices through connector interface on nrf9160 dk. 
Is it possible to write to connector P0.13 and SPI interface on nrf9160 dk through nrf52840?

 I don't think the P0.13 pin is routed to the nrf9160, so you should use a different pin. I think P0.17 should be fine.

Is this possible with pca10056 and building upon an example (for nrf52840) with boards.c? Are there documentation on pins numbering in the firmware? Does P0.17 has Pinout 17?

 I'm not sure which file that is. Are you talking about the nrf5 SDK? Pins for the nrf52840 DK can be found here.
