Unable to Install or Launch nRFgo Studio Win64 1.18:

• Downloaded "nrfgostudio_win-64_1.18.0_installer.msi
• Installed package on a 64-bit Windows 7 PC as a 'regular' user. Installation seemed to progress properly. Program did not launch. No error messages.
• Un-installed and deleted msi package.
• Downloaded "nrfgostudio_win-64_1.18.0_installer.msi" (again).
• Installed package on a 64-bit Windows 7 PC as an 'administrator'. The following error message appears after UAC prompt: "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package"

Any help greatly appreciated.

With the help of Pratyush, Nordic Semiconductor, we have resolved the issue. nrfgostudio requests internet access on start-up. Our firewall prevented it. The software stops execution.

The fix (until firewall setting can be changed) is: nRFgoStudio.exe --nodefinitionupdate

This is the 64bit version installed as a 'regular' user.
