do i need to complete all the configuration programming stages 1-4 of the segger embedded software nrf connect sdk to flash my nrf51 chip?

hi Guys,

before i shoot myself can someone answer me this simple question .... for most.

In the segger embedded software nrf to sdk do i need to complete stages 1-4 before being able to flash my custom software to my nrf51 chip?

Stage 2 is the only one i havent been able to complete due to my technical knowledge of programming but im not sure if i even need to do this as we can already connect and flash to the chip only the final product is not working properly.

What do you mean the "stages1-4"?  Do you mean the steps while creating a new project? If so, I would suggest you duplicate the SDK example as the base. 

as we can already connect and flash to the chip only the final product is not working properly.

 What do you mean the "the final product is not working properly"? Please elaborate on more detail. Did you debug the application?
