Uart interface with external controller

hi i have pca 10001 eval kit .I need to connect it with PIC16L1947 controller via uart.The data transmitted from pic is to be collected by nrf51822 and it should send as advertisement data.I was able to transmited some static data while advertising .but nrf51822 couldnt connect to uart and receive data.Am using simple uart driver. Is there any specific procedure or modification to be done in such interfaces ? am transmitting at baudrate 9600

What, exactly, do you mean by "nrf51822 couldnt connect to uart and receive data" ? What, exactly, did you try? Remember that the UART is connected to the Segger chip on the PCA10001...
