PCB Antenna type for long range BLE Beacon applications

Which type of PCB antenna should i use for BLE beacons based on nRF52832, nRF52840 and nRF52805 for longer range applications.?

Can i use the same antenna used in nRF52DK for longer range.?

Hi,

There are two types of antennas that can be used, PCB antennas (like the one used in the nRF52 DK) and chip antennas. Take a look at the 'General PCB design guidelines for nRF52' devzone post for more information.

There is no difference in which antenna to use for long range applications, but keep in mind that the antenna should be tuned correctly in order to get the best performance (and the best range).
