Secure BLE with preinstalled Keys

Hi,

I would like to skip pairing process alltogether and just provide the KEys which were generated for both devices beforehand. 

My question is only. Is it possible to initate connection with this preinstalled keys somehow? IF yes, Could you please point me to the correct direction?

IF not what would be preffered way how to do encrypted connection without the need of transfering the keys?

I was thinking to create encryption/Decryption function that all the messages would flow throught on both application and as well Device level. I think you have something like this on your Mesh project.

Please just share your idea as Its very hard to find any information regarding this topic.

I have read through your post. Do You guys have any example code? Either for Java or Device part.
Is it possible to insert the key somehow using your android BLE lib ?

Hi,

We do not have any official examples, but you can find posts on DevZone with code, for instance in this post. We do not have any examples of this for Mobile devices, but there is some information out there, as this requires the same BLE API as other forms of out of band pairing (typically NFC).
