How should I connect nRF52840dk to the MacBook to recognize as tty.SLAB_USBtoUAR ?

I'm using nRF52840dk. Is it possible to connect nRF52840dk to USB type-B and recognize as tty.SLAB_USBtoUAR ?

If I understand you correctly you want to run the USBD CDC ACM example in the nRF52840, and connect to the nRF USB connector on the side of the board?

Sorry, my phrasing was bad, 

When I connected nRF52840 (J2) to Macbook and type 'ls /dev', I found 'tty.usbmodemXXXXXXXX or cu.usbmodemXXXXXX'.

Is it correct ?

Hi 

I don't have a Mac available at the moment, but  I got a colleague to test this.

For him the kit shows up as tty.usbmodemFA131, so the first one you mentioned should be correct.
