Power Profiler Kit PPK does not measure with the PPK with MAC OS

Dear Nordic Team

The power profiler Kit does not report any curent measurement with MAC OS (10.13.6)

The exactly same boards and PPK work well on a PC win 10/64 (2 DK and 2 PPK, everyting works fine on windows)

With windows only a message was displayed : "the borad needs to be programmed" at connection. This was not displayed on the MAC

Segger embeded studion semms to work well on the MAC : we are able to complile, program and run from the MAC without any problem so far.

This is a fresh install :

nrfConnect 3.5.0

PPK firmware : reprogrammed with the lastest firmware v 1.1.0

Seeger 5.10a

board : nrf 52840DK PCA10056

Hi Olivier,

Could you post the log from PPK app as well? I was not able to replicate this issue with my Mac with macOS 10.15.5.

We finally found the problem :

-> Jlink was not installed indeed.

thought we have installed nrfConnect and Seeger embedded studio and were able to program the chip, Jlink was not installed.

-> after having installed Jlink, it works

Thanks for the update! I too was under the impression that JLink was installed automatically, maybe it's not the case on macOS.
