nRF52 Factory behaviour - Do they go into deep sleep?

We're thinking of attaching a battery in the manufacturing process but they may not be programmed right away. Do empty nRF52 modules go into sleep mode when there is no program running on there?

Hello,

The chip is not in low power mode no, you should assume it's close to CPU running current (a few mA).
