6lowpan control with long range (extended scan and connect)

Hello there, I following the nRF IoT SDK getting started and after Connecting Devices to Router section I succeed in connecting devices to router.

After that, I edited the examples(clients) and my HCI host so that works with Coded PHY.

I can search my long range kit with HCI extended scan cmds. But after I type echo "connect xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx 1" .. to linux cmd, btmon says that it benefits from legacy scan and connection trials. How can I connect my devices to 6lowpan with a bt0 interface?  Any help will appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • Hi, can you please post the full log output from btmon? Are you sure that the HCI controller is supporting the Bluetooth 5 spec, such as long range? Can you describe the HCI host hardware and software setup?
