How to get stable rssi value?

Hello ,

currently i am working on indoor navigation project for that i was setup 4 node in a square shape, the nrf52832 beacon was continue transmitted packets. we also get location but their is some issues the location continue jumping because the rssi value are vary continue. the RSSi variation amount is 3 to 20. 

So, how i get stable rssi value?

the thing is that there's a huge number of things in the environment that will cause RSSI to vary - including people moving around, etc, etc

so you really can't expect the RSSI value to be steady.

you could try standard techniques such as averaging ...

yes , you are right. i was trying to get not stable but near to stable like if device was in fix location then variation is not more then (+-3) to (+-5).

we already apply averaging.

To elaborate on awneil:

Any reflections will affect RSSI, if any of the devices move position then the RSSI will change due to a change in local RF environment. Also any other 2.4GHz transmitter will affect the RSSI.

like WIFI because its also working on 2.4GHz.
