how can i integrate nrfutil, for secure DFU, on a linux (yokto) environment written in js

i have s SOM which i want to use nrfutil in it for FDU via UART of an application i have on nrf52832, s132 v7.0.1

i have the bootloader flashed with the first version of the app on the nrf52832 side

i wonder how can i use the nrfutil in the SOM application

the SOM is running on linux (yokto for creating) and code is written in js cause the app gui is running on a web page

any help will be appreciated

p.s. i co worker who started working on this said something about a missing ble library but was not clear on that

i saw there was a js app but i wasn't sure.. if i used nrfutil on the FW side to flash the bootloader and the app to the FW

does the pc-nrf-dfu-js acts the same as the using this command:

nrfutil dfu serial -pkg package.zip -p /dev/tty.usbXXX

??

For pc-nrf-dfu-js, I believe it's more similar to nrfutil dfu usb-serial

i am sorry but i did not understand your answer

my SOM app is running on linux, written in js is supposed to update the FW VIA uart connection between the som and the FW

FW - nrf52832, s132 v7.0.1 with nrfutil tool for flashing the bootloader ( from sdk 16.0 example -> secure_bootloader_uart_mbr_pca10040)  and my app (based on central ble_blinky example).

will the pc-nrf-dfu-js work fine with a FW side flashed with nrfutil ?

Unfortunately, it looks like the pc-nrf-dfu-js is only for USB bootloader, and not UART.

We don't have a javascript implementation of nrfutil. Sorry for the inconvenience.

so what is the right way to integrate the nrfutil python sorce in a js application running on linux because on first try it seems there are some ble libraries missing
