The question about DTM (direct test mod) of nRF52833

When we evaluated nrf52833 (using DTM), everything was normal at 1M, 2M, LR. However, during CTE evaluation, after the serial port sends a configuration command, the reply is always error. Nrf52833 should support CTE. What did we do wrong? Btw, we us MT8852B as the test instruments.

Hi

Up until very recently the DTM driver did not support the extensions added to the DTM specification in Bluetooth 5.1, such as CTE and TX POWER support, but this has been added in the SDK v17.0.2 release. 

Can you try to update to this SDK version and see if it works better?

Thank you. The problem has been resolved. It does work well with SDK 17.0.2

Hi, I use a nRF5_SDK_17.0.2_d674dde and prebuild firmware for nrf52833DK kit (pca10100) 

after erase and flashing only the  direct_test_mode_pca10100.hex I have the next results in DTM application
What do you think what's wrong with it? Should I see a device with nrfconnect for mobile?

I sent you an answer in the new case. It is better to open a new case like you did, rather than continue an old one.
