Porting BLE_APP_Interactive to nRF52840

I am trying to port BLE_APP_Interactive to nRF52840 as I require 2 uarts in my application and larger memory. I realise I need to change the crypto to CC310, and I have followed the settings of ble_app_hrs_c. However my application fails on the call

    err_code = CRYS_RndInit(&p_ctx->crys_rnd_state, p_work_buffer);

and my application reboots

The application reports

I changed NRF_CRYPTO_BACKEND_CC310_ENABLED to 1, and disabled the other backend by setting NRF_CRYPTO_BACKEND_OBERON_ENABLED to 0, and also the NRF_CRYPTO_BACKEND_NRF_HW_RNG_ENABLED to 0. I also added all the CC310 modules to the project. The project compiles without error.

In addtion to the above changes, the startup files must be changed to the 52840 version to build in support for the crypto interrupt, which is omitted in the general 52 startup files.

Hello,

Did you try using the \experimental\ble_app_interactive\pca10056 configuration. PCA10056 is the board name for the nRF52840 DK, which means the project has been configured with the correct startup files, etc for the nRF52840 chip.

I am using IAR as toolchain, and there is no support. I therefore had create IAR project from the PCA10040.

Fortunately I could use ble_app_hrs_c as a template to make all the necessary changes. I now have my application running. Others may value IAR support.

I see, thanks for the update. I was not aware that we didn't have a IAR project for the nRF5280 DK board.
