Why no easily available design data for the nRF52805? I could not find a datasheet (like most other manufacturers) that gives any packaging information or PCB footprints.

I need  a full datasheet for the nRF52805 device - I could not find the information on the website, which is visually impressive but technically very unclear in my opinion.  Information is very hard to find and not logicically organised.

As @Dmitry said, I too would recommend taking a look at the nRF52805's infocenter page.
Furthermore, if you are interested in developing for the nRF52805 using the SDK and an nRF52 DK ( emulating the nRF52805 ) then this blogpost might be beneficial to have a look at.

Please let me know if anything should still be unclear.
