Thingy:91 unresponsive after programming a rebuilt version of asset tracker or gps sample

Hi,

I've somehow managed to build the gps sample from source within SES, but I can't get the flashed sample to work properly.  Everything is fine if I flash the downloaded, pre-built hex. 

When attempting to flash the newly built hex file, I see the following warning in the nRFConnect 3.5.0 popup window:

Note the warning message.  I cannot find any info on why that appears.   

If I continue to write the hex, it doesn't work.  The device is unresponsive. AT commands time-out etc. in the Link Monitor.

Can you please help.

Hi JBT,

When flashing the Thingy:91 thru MCUboot in programmer you have to use the app_signed.hex file and not merged.hex file.

make sure that to add the following in the prj.conf file:

# MCUBOOT
CONFIG_BOOTLOADER_MCUBOOT=y
