I noticed that the NRF52840 MCU offers an 2K icache that looks great and we are kind hoping to be able to take advantage for some of the algorithm we are running. But looking at the data sheet it seems to be missing a few performance numbers for NRF52840.
On the NRF52832 CPU Electrical specification page
it list out the CPU current running with and without cache enabled, where the current consumption with cache enabled is slightly smaller. But this same paraterms seems to be missing from the NRF52840 CPU Eletrical specification page
Is there similar CPU current measurements for NRF52840 running with and without icache enabled?
Also is there a reason why icache is not enabled by default on NRF52840? I guess what we are wondering is that in what condition or situation where enabling MCU icache is more beneficial?
