ant+ RF specification for certification

We are working on a ANT+ and BLE heart rate sensor which use nRF52832 with S312 softdevice. We send it to a China lab for certification and the lab request for below data: 

The working frequency channel list, number of channel, channel spacing and modulation type for ANT+

I cannot found those information in the ANT Message Protocol and Usage document. Could you please provide for that.

I search in the forum and found a post which claim that ANT+ use channel 2457MHz only. I am confuse about that. Also the lab ask for high, mid and low frequency fixing sample.

If it is only used one channel what frequency should I used for the high, mid and low sample?

You can use the radio test example from our nRF5 SDK. This is tailored for regulatory emissions testing and will enable the test lab will be able to start transmission on whichever channels they like, for both types of modulation. See the documentation here.

The lab want to know about that ANT+ RF specification use in the application, which is the same as SDK example ANT and BLE Heart Rate Monitor Relay Application.

Could you please provide those specification data like frequency channel list, number of channel, channel spacing and modulation type for ANT+?

The lab request looks unusual to me also. But we still need to reply them.

Hi,

 

ANT+ uses 1 channel: 2457 MHz, and the 1Mbps NRF modulation. Bluetooth Low Energy uses 2402, 2404, 2406, ..., 2480 MHz at 1 Mbps BLE modulation, and optionally 2 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 125 Mbps. Unfortunately I do not know any specification or anything where this is stated, you might need to check with the ANT group if the test house needs this. I do not really see why this is needed though, you need to test your product on all channels due to the BLE functionality anyway.
