nRF52820 IPD

Dear Support Team,

We are migrating our designs to nRF52820. With previous IC we saw that Johanson has IPD for atenna filter + matching circuit (e.g.2450FM07A0029), but not for the nRF52820. Do you have any known IPD that works well with nRF52820?

Also, our designs are 2 layers pcb. Is the recommended layout on nRF52820 datasheet compatible with 2 layers (from RF performance point of view)?

Regarding the 8dBm radio, is a bad idea even at 0dBm or -4 dBm Tx power? (we don't use more than 0 dBm).

Hi,

 

If you are able to provide good grounding of the IC, meaning more or less solid ground in the bottom layer, 0dBm or -4dBm should be fine. This might not be easy though as the power routing will likely break this up quite a bit if you want to use most of the GPIOs
