Can't Update the FW for Thingy 91

Hello,

I bought the Thingy 91 and tried to follow the instructions on the getting started page.

I started by downloading nRF connect - Programmer v 3.5.0. Then downloaded the zip file thingy91_fw_2020-04-29_bc7ade8b.zip. Put the unit in MCUBoot by pressing and holding SW3 during start up. I then selected the device PCA20035_e154c0dff144 PCA20035, made sure Enable MCUBoot is checked. Selected the zip file above and still got the below error.

Modem DFU failed with error: Error: Error occured when program. Errorcode: CouldNotCallFunction (0x9) Lowlevel error: INVALID_PARAMETER (fffffffd)

After couple of tries, the download screen showed 100% with status: Finished with file Step1/2: App FW update. I waited for few minutes and then restarted the device normally and blue LED was not turning ON any more. I tried to reprogram the unit again and I couldn't.

Any suggestions?

It works now. Thanks for your help Martin.

Now I am trying to modify the existing app to turn a GPIO ON/Off upon a receipt of a command from the nrfconnect backend. 

Where would I locate the SDK for the Thingy91?
