SDK 8.0 using for nRF51822

In the SDK 8.0 are only examples for nRF51422.

Is it possible to compile this for nRF51822 and is the softdevice 8.0.0 for both controllers?

I use nRF51822 Variant QFAAC0 Hwid 001D (=revision 1) and it seems SD 8.0.0 doesn't run on it!

Can you confirm this?

You are correct. That is a rev 1 IC and hence you should use SDK 4.4.2 and SoftDevice S110 v5.2.1.
