Nordic nrf52840 with Adafruit SIM7000-LTE-Shield

Hi, i'm trying to find a way to use the Nordic nrf52840 with Adafruit SIM7000-LTE-Shield, the only apparently way is with Arduino IDE but i´m not using it (no success at the momment trying to emulate something alike). If someone there have some advice for this quest let me know.

Not at all!

The  SIM7000 neither knows nor cares anything about the Arduino IDE.

You will need to study the  SIM7000 documentation;  that will tell you how it interacts with a host controller - most likely, using AT commands...

You could also look at the source of the Adafruit/Arduino code to see how it does it ...

Well, at the momment no luck at all, i´m trying with Visual Code and some Examples with the arduino-blufruit-bleuart using PlatformIO. The build runs but the bluetooth isn´t working on the Nordic.

I don't see any SIM7000-based products at https://www.adafruit.com/ - did you mean this:

I'm afraid none of that is directly supported by Nordic, and not widely used on this forum - so you're going to be a bit out on your own with that.

Do you already have experience with nRF52? Or microcontroller development in general?

If not, it would probably be best to at least start using Segger Embedded Studio (SES) - which is recommended & supported by Nordic, and all the SDK examples are directed at that.

SES is free for use with Nordic devices.
