Multiple roles (Central and Peripheral) using different PHYs for each role

Hi,

I would like to know if the following application is possible using the nRF52840. I'm open to use the nRF5 SDK or the nRF Connect SDK.

I have a base station with the nRF52840 that will act as both central and peripheral

• Peripheral to a mobile phone using BLE (1M Phy) AND
• Central to another nRF52840 using BLE (Coded Phy).

The dual roles on the base station nrf52840 will have to be concurrent. Is this possible with the SDKs and the chipset? Can you point me to which SDK and a starting example code and/or configurations?

Yeah, that's not a problem. Call sd_ble_gap_phy_update on a given connection handle and PHY, the connection will then be updated to the given PHY if the peer supports it.

Thank you! I have yet to try this out but will in the future. It seems that the scenario is possible and now it is just the details of implementing it. Should be  easy to do
