Problem facing in nRF Mesh Project - Thingy Mesh Provisioning Demo v0.7

Hi,

         The project "Thingy Mesh Provisioning Demo v0.7" which is available here on GitHub is for "Nordic nRF5 SDK for Mesh v3.2.0"

         Question: Is this project only supported for the SDK version 3.2.0 or it can also work with the SDK version 4.1.0 or the latest 4.2.0?

                          If yes, please share me some sample project or reference link that would be really helpful for me to proceed with.

Hi,

The example was made for Mesh v3.2.0, but it shouldn't be too hard to port it to the later Mesh versions v4.x. 

We haven't ported it ourselves yet so you have to do this yourself. I suggest you have a look at the migration guide in our infocenter.

What do you mean by "calls or consume the Temperature/humidity for nrf5_SDK_for_Mesh_v3.2.0"? Do you mean like this one?

Yes similar to this one which can read temperature/humidity, but for mesh sdk 'nrf5_SDK_for_Mesh_v3.2.0'

Unfortunately, we don't have a sample Android application for that.

Hi Mttrinh,

               The project "experimental_dimming" which is present inside examples of "nrf5_SDK_for_Mesh_v3.2.0" is working on Development kit (PCA10040) by connecting DK with nRF mesh App.

                Further somehow, I am trying to include the same functionality(coding) of dimming into "thingy52-mesh-provisioning-demo-master" to test dimming functionality on Nordic Thingy-52 (PCA20020). But I am facing lots of errors. So is it possible what I am trying to attempt? If yes, then what is the correct way to implement the requirement? Please help me out.
