DFU of SD only fails for 7.0.1 to 7.2.0?

Hello,

Based on the DFU documentation, you should be able to download an updated soft device as long as the "major" number of the soft device does not change. This was true for 5.0.0 to 5.1.0. However it appears that this check fails for 7.0.1 to 7.2.0.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Hi!

Which SoftDevice is it you are using?

As far as I'm aware, you should still be able to update the SoftDevice from 7.0.1 to 7.2.0, but I will double-check this with the developers. 

Could you try using the debug variant of the bootloader to get more information on why it fails? And what nRF Util parameters are you using to create the SD DFU zip package?

The processor is nRF52832

Soft device is S113, v7.0.1 and v7.2.0

Using SDK 17.0.1

Sorry, this must have been an operator error of some sort. Regenerated the Softdevice only DFU zip. It worked this time.
