flash read/write

Dear Sir,

I am new in embedded.

I start work on nrf9160.

I have to acquisition periodically through mqtt protocol, a data, with total space  of approximately 30 kb,  and then send it to the server .

Because it is big memory data, I think I have to store it in the flash.

Can you please guide me how I can get an example code that does this?

For example, I need to access the flash, read/ write into the flash.

save different kind of data in the flash like ecg senor data, and temperature sensor data

Hi!

We have the Non-Volatile Storage sample in ncs/zephyr/samples/subsys/nvs which demonstrates the use of our non-volatile storage module for flash storage. The documentation for the NVS module can be found here.

Before you go ahead with this solution, you should look into flash wear and calculate how long the flash of the DK will work with 30 kB written and erased every x minutes.
