APP_UART_FIFO_ERROR

I am using nrf52840 board. I hvae interfaced a gsm module(quectel m66).The problem is my device gets an APP_UART_FIFO_ERROR after every few sms commands.The maximum data i transmit or receive via uart is120 Bytes.I have increased the fifo size to 8192(TX and RX).all the uart settings are defauly as given in the example.I have pulled up the RX pin on the board.But i keep getting this error now and then. Its not frequent ,rather is inconsistent or unpredictable.
