Multiple smartphones connected to single nordic device

Which of the configurations will work and how?

1) Single Nordic device acting as a Nordic_UART peripheral and multiple smartphones with UART application (central) receiving the same data from that peripheral

2) Single Nordic device as a Nordic UART central and multiple smartphones with UART acting as peripheral (is it possible?) and receive the same data from that central?

If the second option is possible, is there an example for that Android Application acting as UART peripheral?

Hello,

Both options are supported on the nRF side. I'm however unsure if all smartphones support multiple links as peripheral. It's much more common to let the phone take the central role. I recommend taking a look at the Experimental: BLE Multiperipheral Application to get started with option 1. You can use this as a reference to modify the UART sample to do the same.
