calculate PER of bluetooth transmission

Hello colleagues,

Mi name is Daniel and i'm trying to develop a software application that let me calculate the PER (packet error rate) of a bluetooth transmission.

The setup is very simple. I have a laptop with nrf52840 USB dongle and an auxiliary equipment like a smartphone,tablet,ipad or similar.

First i have to pair the bluetooth dongle with the auxiliary equipment and then, with a software application running in the laptop, and a known packet length and duration, i need calculate the instantaneous  packet error rate (PER) of this communication.

Please, I need your ideas and advice to accomplish this Project.

Hi,

We have some functionality for this in S122 v8, but that SoftDevice variant is central-only and not compatible with nRF52840.

Maybe I will try to develop this project in LaBview, Do you know if there are drivers and examples to work with nRF52840 or similar in LabView ?

Unfortunately, we don’t have any LabView drivers or examples.
