I have seen that some other ppl had a similar problem, but I couldn't figure out in the posts how to resolve the error in the title. 

The issue is following: I have to use SES, because the ble_app_hrs application is too large for the Keil µvision evaluation version. So after following the instructions how to setup SES, it is building all necessary files. But when linking, following error occurs and I have no idea how to fix this one. My output isthe following

btw. I am using nRF52840 DKs. My internal files I am using are: ses_startup_nrf52840.s and system_nrf52840.c

As far as I could figure out by now, the problem is that the ble_app_hrs_c_pca10056_s140.elf does not exist.... Any idea how to fix this?

The topic can be closed. The issues were only related to the Segger Embedded Studio and I am using an alternative now.
