nRF52811 SAADC oversampling

Hi all,

we are now using nRF52811 and its SAADC. We would like to use the oversampling functionality, but there is some information missing in the datasheet.

So, when using the oversampling, do we need to decimate the digital output data or is this done in device's hardware? In datasheet is mentioned that an averaging takes place, thus we could assume that the output data rate was already decreased. If so, what is the transfer function after averaging? Or do we need to filter the oversampled data in our software?

Hi,

The result will be written to RAM as a single sample that is the result of averaging multiple samples. No need to decimate any data.
